All you need is a computer, access to the internet and Skype. You can download Skype completely free of charge and using Skype for your lessons will cost you nothing! You will need a microphone, either a headset or speakers and a web-cam.
Your teacher will also have Skype and once you have opened your free Skype account, you will be able to talk to each other as if you were in the same room. Your teacher will be waiting to contact you at the pre-arranged time of your lesson. If you have a webcam, you will also be able to see each other and this will make the whole learning experience much more fun and so much more interesting. It will also enable your teacher to assess your understanding of what you are learning.

Your lessons will be 1-1, just you and your teacher. If you have a friend who wants to learn with you, your lessons will be 1-2, and will cost less per person. Don't forget that if you choose to learn with a friend, you must both be together at the same time for your lessons. Whether you have 1-1 or 1-2 lessons, you will be able to choose exactly what you want to learn.
